In a recent interview, Nas stated that he is currently in the studio working on a follow-up album to his latest ‘untitled’ album with Damian Marley.  If you recall, the two did a collabo on the track ‘Welcome to Jamrock.’

Nas mentioned, “Right now, I’ll tell you first, I’m working on an album with Damian Marley, and we tryin’ to build some schools in Africa with this one, and trying to build empowerment,” he revealed. “We’re tryin’ to show love and stuff with this album. So, the record’s … all about really the ‘hood and Africa also as well. That’s coming out real soon.”

No confirmation on when the collabo-album will be dropping. but sources suggest Spring or Summer of ’09 so be on the lookout!
