| Overall, "Trey Day" may be slightly better then "I Gotta Make It" but it's still uneven. Too many bedroom songs, a few too many R. Kelly sound-alikes and too few memorable songs that sound like an artist standing on his own feet. More "Wonder Woman" and "Can't Help But Wait" and less "Sex For Stereo" and "Grub You". The album is alright with some standouts, but I had expected better and still hope that Trey will find his own sound and style eventually cause he could be a star. But we'll have to wait for that moment. |
