Earlier today, if you visited the homepage of Yahoo!, there was a photo of urban-pop star MIA.  Along with the photo of MIA was some tacky headline, commenting on her baby’s weird name.

Sources have claimed that MIA has named her baby “Ickitt.”

Well, MIA is responding to all these false claims via her MySpace page.

MIA’s MySpage page response regarding her baby’s name:

“My baby is not called Ickitt, Pickit, or Lickit. Thank you very much to all the Hollywood press. He’s a baby, he don’t need press. I didn’t release the baby name because I didn’t think it was news. But I will be back with something newsworthy soon. Till then, go pick on Apple, Satchel, and Moon Unit. “
