| BOBBY VALENTINO INTERVIEW: |
| On October 03, 2006, we had the opportunity to speak with Disturbing Tha Peace's Bobby Valentino one of the most successful R&B singers, for an in-depth interview about his career, personal life, and upcoming album (Special Occasion). |
| ABOUT BOBBY VALENTINO: |
| Robert "Bobby Valentino" Wilson, born on February 27, 1980 in Jackson, Mississippi is an R&B singer, raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Valentino first entered the music scene in 1996 with the now-defunct youth quartet Mista. Some years after Mista disbanded, he enrolled in Clark Atlanta University where he majored in Mass Communications, graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is currently signed with Island Def Jam music imprint and is a member of Ludacris' Disturbing Tha Peace label. His first single, 2005's "Slow Down", from his self-titled debut album became a top 10 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, receiving a huge amount of radio and TV airplay. Bobby got the moniker "Valentino" because his parents expected him to be born on Valentine's Day, but he was born thirteen days later. His first single off his new album Special Occasion is titled "Turn The Page". |

| What have you been up to these days? |
| BOBBY VALENTINO: I got my new album Special Occasion, which will be in stores November 14th. I'm doing a little producing here, writing there. Just working hard! |
| I read that you got a degree in Mass Communications from Clark Atlanta University. Do you think that your education has helped you in anyway with your music? |
| BOBBY VALENTINO: Oh yeah, it has definitely helped with communications. If you're a singer or entertainer, all it is is communications. Whether you're doing interviews or on stage, having that communication degree has definitely helped me out a lot |
| How did you initially connect with Ludacris and the whole Disturbing Tha Peace family? |
| BOBBY VALENTINO: Basically, we had mutual friends and through those mutual friends, we made it happen. |
| I heard that the name Bobby Valentino is now banned in the UK. What are you going to call yourself in the UK? |
| BOBBY VALENTINO: Bobby |
| Has there ever been a time where someone has told you that you couldn't reach your dream of being a singer - If so, what did you do to prove them wrong? |
| BOBBY VALENTINO: There will always be haters out there. People that tell you that you can't do something. But always, it just motivates me to go harder and to continue my goals and dreams. Even now, there are people that don't believe and think that I am just a one hit wonder. So, you know, it is just motivation for me. It just makes me want to work harder. |
| Moving on to your album, do you have any collaborations? |
| BOBBY VALENTINO: Oh yeah, we have a couple of collaborations, but we just haven't cut the check yet. So until we cut the checks, I don't really want to speak on it, but we definitely have some great collaborations. |
